Raiders Near the Bottom of Way Too Early 2024 Rankings

In this story:
The Las Vegas Raiders will enter next season with a different look, as many players currently on the team will not be. This occurs when a new general manager and coaching staff come in.
Much of the Raiders' potential for next season will be unknown until they adjust their roster over the next few months.
Internally, the Raiders hope for a better ending to next season. From the outside looking in, though, the outlook is a little more bleak. NFL expert Conor Orr ranked the Raiders 27th in his Way Too Early rankings with their roster as it stands today.
"I’m not going to put a great deal of importance on the Raiders losing out on offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury, even though I do think Kingsbury will provide a boost for the Commanders," Orr said. "Luke Getsy was an able play-caller in Chicago and has the ability to play to a quarterback’s strengths."
The Raiders are expected to have multiple new players at key positions, including quarterback and along their offensive line. The Raiders could have too many holes to fill on the offensive side of the ball to take a step forward next season.
Orr believes this and the Raiders having a first-time head coach could negatively impact the Silver and Black.
"The Raiders are not a playoff team as presently constructed, with far too many holes on the offensive side of the ball," Orr said. "Antonio Pierce will also have to prove that he can out-coach the normal lull that accompanies interim-made-full-time head coaches."
The good news for the Raiders is it's only February. They have finally had a fresh start and have time to rebuild their roster to be competitive in today's National Football League.
The Raiders have a head coach players want to play for and play in a city players want to play in. They are only a few good additions away from the playoffs.
From February 27 to March 4, 2024, the NFL Scouting Combine will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.
The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
