Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby has been one of the league's most underrated players.

That was further proven when Crosby's name did not appear on the Associated Press' 2022 All-Pro first or second team after he produced a better campaign than the season before, when he was named to the second team.

Fans are calling him one of the biggest Pro Bowl snubs.

While Crosby said it's not his decision to make, he certainly agrees he did enough to be among those chosen.

"That (obscenity) pissed me off," Crosby said on Tuesday's edition of the "Bussin' With The Boys" podcast with former Raider Will Compton and Tennessee Titans offensive tackle Taylor Lewan. " ... It's like anything else, bro. When I look at it, you have this own story in your head [that says] this is how it's going to go: I want this, I want [this], I'm going to get this."

That story entailed proving the doubters wrong, the ones who Crosby said believed his 2021-22 campaign to just be a "flash in the pan."

"I feel like people on the outside world didn't respect me, like, fully as like a Myles Garrett or a T.J. Watt just because they're all first-round picks, they're all top-10 guys, they're all consistently ballers," Crosby said. "So for me, going into this year, my attitude was like: '(obscenity) that.' Like, I'm that guy. Like, I'm going to be that guy."

Crosby finished the 2022 season with career highs in combined tackles (89), sacks (12.5) and tackles for losses (22), which led the league.

"In my storybook, I have a lot of things that I want to do, and going into this year, [I said] 'All right, how am I going to do better?'" Crosby said. "'How am I going to do better than second-team All-Pro? OK, I'm want to be first-team All-Pro.' I want to do -- there's a lot of things, but I don't put a number on anything like: 'I'm going to get this amount of sacks, this amount of blah, blah, blah.' For me, it's like ... I'm going to improve as a player."
