The Las Vegas Raiders are preparing for their game on Sunday  against the Minnesota Vikings at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The Raiders (5-7) need to string some victories together if they want to be in the postseason come January. The Vikings (6-6) hold a Wild Card spot in the NFC, so they will be playing to maintain that position.

If the Raiders want to win this game and build momentum over the season's final stretch, they will need to lean on defensive end Maxx Crosby to get them there.

Crosby is having another excellent season with 11.5 sacks and spoke on the latest episode of his podcast, The Rush with Maxx Crosby, about his preparation for the Vikings game.

“We've got five games left, so it’s literally do or die,” Crosby said. “We basically have to win out. It’s not guaranteed, but there's a possibility we get in if we got 4-1 in these last five, but for us, every single game is win or go home. So, we’re going against the Vikings. They’re a team that, obviously, quarterback Kirk Cousins went down, unfortunately, but they have a ton of talent. Justin Jefferson coming back, Jordan Addison, T.J. Hockenson, they have a ton of talent on that offense. They have two really solid tackles, Brian O’Neill and Christian Darrisaw, they have Brian Flores running the defense now and they’re doing really well.

“This is a legitimate team, and we’re not taking them lightly at all. I know my mindset. I’m planning on doing exactly what I’ve already been talking about. This is the most important game of my career coming up. Every single game coming up, everything I’ve worked for is for now. We’re trying to make the playoffs, and it’s as simple as that. For me, I’m ultra dialed in; I’ve been working, getting my body right; I cannot wait to get back out on the field, get back in the building, get with the guys, and just go out and show everybody what Raider football is supposed to look like.”

Crosby knows the level of urgency is high for the Raiders, understanding that every game is a must-win situation for them as the season comes to a close.

The Silver and Black will return home to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to take on the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, December 10, at 4:05 p.m. EST/1:05 p.m. PST.
