Raiders' Play a Familiar Chiefs Team From Last Season

In this story:
Undoubtedly, the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs are one of the biggest rivalries in the AFC West division and the National Football League.
The Kanas City Chiefs are coming off a season as Super Bowl champions and almost have the same roster from last season. This article will review how the Raiders are playing almost precisely the same Chiefs roster from last NFL Season.
One noticeable move the Chiefs made this offseason was parting ways with wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who signed with the Chiefs last NFL offseason as a free agent. He spent five seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers before being a free agent. The Chiefs traded him to the New England Patriots this NFL offseason.
Smith-Schuster had a short one-year with the Chiefs and became a valuable wide receiver. He finished last season with 78 receptions for 933 receiving yards and three touchdowns and was a key player for the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII.
Despite losing Smith-Schuster, the recent Super Bowl Champions have been a quiet team this offseason and look to have a familiar roster from last season. The Chiefs currently have on their roster 42 players that were on the 53-man roster last NFL season.
The Raiders, unlike the Chiefs, are one of the teams that made a lot of noise during this NFL offseason. The Raiders added multiple defensive players to their defense, like safety Marcus Epps, and signed a new quarterback, Jimmy Garappolo, along with wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, to their offensive roster.
The Raiders finished the season with a record of 6-11. The Chiefs finished the season with a record of 14-3, being AFC champions and Super Bowl champions. The Raiders play the Chiefs in Week 12 at Allegiant Stadium at 1:25 PT. The Raiders also play the Chiefs on Christmas Day, Week 16, at 10:00 PT.
Here is a full rundown of the offseason signings the Chiefs made.
The Super Bowl Champions are not just a rival because of their current success; the rivalry goes back decades to when both franchises entered the world of professional sports.
