The Las Vegas Raiders have officially begun training camp ahead of the 2023 season.

The Raiders are coming off of a 2022 season that saw them go 6-11 and miss the playoffs again. After a few significant moves in the offseason, the team is looking much different for 2023.

Now that training camp has begun and players have reported, they can get back into their football regimen and prepare for the season.

Some players will benefit from practicing and getting into this regimen more than others, however, as they enter pivotal seasons with the Raiders. Let’s take a closer look at three Raiders who will benefit the most from a good training camp.

Running back Zamir White -- White is entering his second season with the Raiders after not playing much his rookie season. Starter Josh Jacobs is away from the team, and it’s unclear when he’ll return.

With this being the case, White is in line to boost his snaps and earn a shot at being the top running back. He has all the physical traits to do it too, as he is a strong, physical runner who is tough to tackle once he breaks into the open field.

A good training camp and preseason should all but guarantee that White has a second year leap with Jacobs absent.

Linebacker Robert Spillane -- Spillane joined the Raiders on a two-year contract in free agency, and looks to be one of the starting linebackers next to Divine Deablo. This is the time for Spillane to learn Defensive Coordinator Patrick Graham’s system, as he will take on a lot of responsibility for the defense.

Cornerback Tyler Hall -- Hall took on a bigger role with the Raiders at the end of the 2022 season and played quite well. Hall finished the season as the Raiders’ second-highest graded player by Pro Football Focus, a testament to how good he was in those few weeks.

However, with all the additions the Raiders made at cornerback this offseason, Hall might find himself on the roster bubble. He will have to have a good training camp and preseason if he wants to secure a spot on the roster going forward.

The Silver and Black open the preseason by hosting the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Aug. 13, at 4 p.m. EDT/1 p.m. PDT.
