Tyree Wilson With Rare Opportunity Available

In this story:
The Las Vegas Raiders have had their fair share of first-round picks in recent history, but very few have panned out.
Through no fault of his own, that only adds pressure to the Raiders' first-round pick from this year's NFL Draft, edge rusher Tyree Wilson out of Texas Tech.
In the last 20 years, only four of the Raiders' first-round picks have ever made a Pro Bowl: running back Josh Jacobs, wide receiver Amari Cooper, edge rusher Khalil Mack and defensive back Nnamdi Asomugha.
That's out of 22 first-round picks since 2003.
Las Vegas offensive tackle and 2018 first-round pick, tackle Kolton Miller, could very well be on his way and was arguably snubbed of the honor last season.
Wilson has the makings of a future Pro Bowler, having been a top-10 pick and one of the top prospects at his position in the entire draft.
Should he be named to a Pro Bowl at any point in his career, he would be the first first-round Raiders draft pick to do so since Jacobs, who has since been selected to two.
Wilson was named a first-team All-American by the Pro Football Writers Association of America for his impressive final season at Texas Tech in which he posted 61 combined tackles, 14 for losses, seven sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and eight quarterback hits in only 10 games.
He was also named to the All-Big 12 First Team by conference coaches and the Associated Press.
Wilson played three seasons at Texas Tech after transferring from Texas A&M, where he spent two years.
The prospect, along with the rest of the Raiders' rookie class, are scheduled to report to rookie training camp on July 20.
