Raiders to Host DE Tyree Wilson Thursday

In this story:
While the Las Vegas Raiders are in much more need of talent in some areas compared to others, Coach Josh McDaniels and General Manager Dave Ziegler have made it known that a best-available mindset is not off the table in this year's NFL Draft.
And with 12 picks heading into the draft, there is room for a number of approaches.
According to NFL reporter Albert Breer, the Raiders are hosting Texas Tech defensive end Tyree Wilson to a Top-30 visit on Thursday.
Texas Tech DE Tyree Wilson is doing 30 visits with the Jaguars (today), Cardinals (Wed), Raiders (Thu) and Patriots (Fri) this week. Jags and Pats sit lower than he'll go, but Wilson loved the idea of getting time with Doug Pederson and Bill Belichick.

(Wilson = a top 10 lock.)
Breer reported Wilson had a visit with the Jacksonville Jaguars and also will have visits with the Arizona Cardinals on Wednesday and the New England Patriots on Friday.
The prospect was named to the Associated Press' All-American Second Team last season for what was a breakout senior campaign, as he posted a career-high 61 tackles, 14 for losses, seven sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
Breer earned first-team All-Big 12 honors after being an honorable mention selection the season before.
In total, the edge rusher finished with 109 tackles, 29 for a losses, 15.5 sacks, a pass defensed, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in his three seasons with the Red Raiders.
Las Vegas holds the seventh overall selection in this month's draft, the first of its 12 total picks.
