Raiders Support Las Vegas Wheelchair Football League

In this story:
A couple Las Vegas Raiders used their off day this week to give back to the Las Vegas community.
Raiders punter AJ Cole and fullback Jakob Johnson visited the Las Vegas Wheelchair Football League at one of the team's practices held at Dula Community Center, where they spent time with veterans and members of the team.
The purpose of their visit was "to inspire and promote inclusion for individuals with diverse abilities," per a Raiders press release.
The USA Wheelchair Football League was founded in 2020. It has allowed for adults with disabilities to come together and be able to participate in athletics in a team environment.
Las Vegas Wheelchair Football is competing in a tournament in Buffalo, N.Y., this weekend as part of the two regional tournaments teams in the USA Wheelchair Football League are required to participate in.
They already competed in the Chicago regional tournament last month.
Other teams at Buffalo's tournament this weekend include Buffalo, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Kansas City, New England and New Orleans.
Cole and Johnson, the Raiders' two attendees at the practice this week, each entered the NFL in 2019.
Cole has spent all five of his NFL seasons thus far with the Raiders. He has been to two consecutive Pro Bowls and was an Associated Press first-team All-Pro selection in 2021. That season, Cole led the league in yards per punt (50.0).
Johnson, meanwhile, is in his second season with Las Vegas. He played his first three NFL seasons with the New England Patriots, who signed him as an undrafted free agent out of the NFL International Player Pathway program.
Johnson previously played for the Stuttgart Scorpions of the German Football League after his years at the University of Tennessee. He has played in 57 games so far in his NFL career.
The Silver and Black return to the road this week in Inglewood, Calif., to play the Los Angeles Chargers (1-2) on Sunday, Oct. 1, at 4:05 p.m. EDT/1:05 p.m. PDT.
