In this story:

The Las Vegas Raiders entered their game against the Los Angeles Chargers searching for answers and points. They seemingly found both on Thursday night, as many of the issues that plagued them on offense this season were non-existent.

Las Vegas has struggled to score points, but had 42 in the first half against the Chargers. They've also struggled on third down this season but converted on 80 percent of their third downs in the first half. This season, they've struggled in the red zone but scored three touchdowns on their three first-half trips to the red area.

With all of the struggles the Raiders have had on offense this season, gaining nearly 300 yards of total offense and 42 points in the first half against a divisional rival was what the beleaguered unit needed after a subpar performance last Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

Las Vegas' offense played the way many expected it to when the season started. The Silver and Black had 19 first downs and ran for more than 100 yards without their starting running back, Josh Jacobs.

Second-year running back Zamir White led the way with 69 yards on 17 carries.

While there is no replacing Jacobs, White and veteran running backs Ameer Abdullah and Brandon Bolden filled in seamlessly for Jacobs against the Chargers.

All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams paced Las Vegas' wide receivers with eight catches for 101 yards and a touchdown.

Rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell had arguably his best game as a professional as he threw for 248 yards and four touchdowns. O'Connell would finish the game with a 120.7 quarterback rating, which ranks as the highest quarterback rating of his young career.

Few teams in the National Football League have experienced as much turmoil as the Raiders this season. Even fewer offensive units around the league with as much talent as Las Vegas have struggled as much as the Raiders have this season.

While it has been tough sledding for one of the highest-paid offenses in the NFL, scoring a franchise record 63 points only days after scoring zero points, has to bring a sigh of relief for Interim Coach Antonio Pierce and company.

The Silver and Black will return to action versus their AFC West rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs, on Christmas Day in Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. Don't miss it on Monday, December 25, at 1:00 p.m. EST/10:00 a.m. PST.
