HENDERSON, Nev.--While the Las Vegas Raiders refuse to call their overhaul of the roster a "rebuild," Coach Josh McDaniels and General Manager Dave Ziegler added a solid piece to that effort when they agreed to terms with former Michigan Wolverine standout cornerback David Long Jr. on a deal.
They needed another cornerback, and they seem to have filled the void with cornerback Brandon Facyson and now Long.

Only 25 years old, Long had 21 tackles and 1 PBU during his four starts with the #Rams last season.

HENDERSON, Nev. – The Las Vegas Raiders have signed unrestricted free agent CB David Long Jr., the club announced Wednesday.
Long, originally a third-round (79th overall) selection in the 2019 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams, has spent his first four years in the league with the club and has appeared in 52 games with 10 starts, totaling 75 tackles (66 solos), one interception and seven passes defensed.
Last season, Long played in 12 games with four starts and recorded a career-high 21 tackles. Long has appeared in six career postseason games with one start and posted 12 tackles, one interception returned for a touchdown and one pass defensed.
A native of Los Angeles, Long played at Michigan from 2016-18, where he played in 30 games with 26 starts and was named a 2018 All-Big Ten First-Team honoree and 2017 All-Big Ten honorable mention.
