Brutal Honesty From a Raider Tells Fascinating Story

In this story:
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.---Las Vegas Raiders Coach Antonio Pierce went to bat last season for Jack Jones with then General Manager Champ Kelly and owner Mark Davis, and it paid off.
Pierce had a relationship with Jones going back to high school, and the Raiders interim coah risked his future, and Jones didn't disappoint.
Jones has had some rough spots, but he isn't a bad young man, and Pierce's faith was placed in the right spot.
And Jones is loyal. He is a baller, not afraid to risk everything, and is seen as a rising star for the Silver and Black.
Fans have asked Jones to go out and recruit free agents to join him in the desert, but Jones doesn't like that idea.
Jones believes in the team, coach and teammates who believed in him, and he thinks the Raiders are ready to win now.
In a brutally honest post on X, formerly Twitter, Jones said: "Fans telling me recruit these FA but I feel like that’s going against the guys. I believe In what we got, I don’t think we need to make any changes."

Some fans took umbridge with Jones, seeing needs on the team and a salary cap flush with cash, but for Jones, it is about loyalty and belief.
While the comments are fascinating, and the brutal honesty is refreshing, they are also very interesting.
The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
