Raiders Insider Podcast: Carr's Comments, Jacobs, More

In this story:
HENDERSON, Nev.--In our latest Las Vegas Raiders Insider Podcast episode, we look at many subjects that deal directly with your beloved Silver and Black.
Among the issues that we tackle today are the latest comments by Derek Carr.
Recently Carr told the Fresno Bee: "Once they made my wife cry, it was pretty much over. Once they made her cry, I was out. But the love for my teammates is what probably would have made me do it. But the way it worked out and the timing of things, I was just ... it was time for me to move on. But who knows? You never know what will happen."
You can watch the entire podcast below:
Carr is as genuine as a pro athlete as you will find, and while his comments are heartfelt, would it behoove him to step away from commenting on the Las Vegas Raiders?
Could Carr's Silver and Black discussion turn off his new New Orleans Saints fan base?
After previously saying that the Las Vegas Raiders ... "Didn't get his best," and "I felt bad for the (Raiders) players and coaches," and now these comments, can Carr potentially hurt his legacy in Raider Nation?
Additionally, we look at the latest with superstar running back Josh Jacobs.
We have reported previously that both Jacobs and the Las Vegas Raiders would like to reach a long-term agreement. We have also reported that the definition of a long-term deal is where the problem currently resides.
Recently, some reports have surfaced that Jacobs might hold out of the 2023 season. Those reports go directly against what we have previously reported. We got on the phone early this morning to find out for you if anything has changed.
Finally, we talk about the Las Vegas Raiders quarterback situation. No one wants Jimmy Garoppolo to be injured, but based on his track record of injury, you have to take a look.
If Jimmy were to go down, who would take his place? Would it be long-time National Football League quarterback Brian Hoyer or the rookie Aida O'Connell from the Purdue Boilermakers?
