We tackle many issues in our latest Las Vegas Raiders Insider Podcast episode. Including:
· Maxx Crosby wouldn’t be shocked if something drastic happened and Tom Brady plays quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2023.
· No one is doubting inside the building that Jimmy Garoppolo will be ready from game one, but does having Tom Brady around as an owner mean we will hear this for a while?
· At some point, if Jimmy Garoppolo is healthy, but the Las Vegas Raiders are not playing well, can the presence of Brady be a distraction?
· Does Tom Brady have some Brett Favre or Michael Jordan in him in that walking away isn’t part of his DNA?
· We know that Brian Hoyer is the backup, and Aidan O’Connell could be the future, but in case of a Jimmy Garoppolo injury, should they be looking to the owner’s box?
· With all of the 2023 NFL Draft picks for the Silver and Black signed, does that make the Raiders better?
· Dave Ziegler has shown impressive fiscal restraint and salary cap discipline. That bodes well for the Las Vegas Raiders future. Is his use of UDFAs as impressive as it seems?
· OL McClendon Curtis out of the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and North Carolina State LB Drake Thomas look to make it this season; how big is that for the Silver and Black?
· A roster full of day two, three, and UDFAs is a good sign for a team. The Raiders, thanks to Ziegler, are that team.
· Derek Carr made some surprisingly stunning comments. How big was it, and can both parties (Derek Supporters vs. Derek Detractors) now turn the page?
