The importance of having competitive depth on an NFL roster cannot be overstated, as it is one of the key components of successful teams. Having a competitive roster not only promotes better performance but also helps create a positive and supportive team culture.

When a team can foster competitive competition amongst its players, it promotes better decision-making on the field, forces players to push themselves further, and encourages them to take risks to further their performance.

Additionally, a team with a competitive roster allows for a stronger sense of camaraderie among the players, which often leads to better team chemistry and improved morale.

Finally, investing in competitive depth within an NFL roster often leads to team success, creating a level of competition that encourages players to better themselves and strive for greatness. These advantages of having a competition on an NFL roster are invaluable in producing a successful team.

A strong roster includes position rankings from the top of the depth chart all the way to the bottom.
