In this story:

The Las Vegas Raiders have flipped the page to the 2024 offseason, and owner Mark Davis is officially on the hunt for the Silver and Black's next permanent General Manager and Head Coach.

Which direction will Davis go? Nobody knows, but the process is underway. We have said from the beginning that we expect Champ Kelly to be named permanent general manager and Antonio Pierce to be the permanent head coach.

In our latest episode of the Las Vegas Raiders Insider Podcast, we discuss the latest on the Coach/General Manager search, look at the impact of Antonio Pierce on free agents and staff coaches, and look ahead to the NFL Playoffs.

Interim Coach Antonio Pierce discussed his rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell, saying: "Well, I think he already has developed. I mean, there have been a lot of quarterback changes in the National Football League. Some teams are on their third and fourth quarterback. And I think for Aidan [O'Connell], what you've seen as a kid be very poised, more vocal. I thought last night was huge. He had a little injury there, a little something going on with his hand, but fought through it for an entire drive. He tried to come back out and do it, OK, maybe he can't go. We made a decision to take him back into the locker room and he comes back out and he looks me dead in the eyes and is like: 'I'm ready.' OK, you don't have to tell me nothing, just go ahead and go out there. That confidence that you've got to have as a coach to look in your player's eyes and know that he’s really ready, and I'm not just saying it because that's the cool thing to do, that's special. I like what Aidan has done as far as how he carries himself on and off the field, and in this building. I get that he's a rookie, but he's a little bit older, but he carries himself like a pro. Jimmy [Garoppolo] and Brian [Hoyer] have done a really good job of mentoring him as well. I don't think enough credit has gone to those two gentlemen of what they've been able to do, especially Jimmy with his professionalism and the way he stepped in last night, regardless of if it was pretty, ugly, or good. But Aidan has really done a good job of putting himself in position going forward to be in consideration to be a starting quarterback in the National Football League."

From February 27 to March 4, 2024, the NFL Scouting Combine will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
