In this story:

HENDERSON, Nev.--The Josh McDaniels-led Las Vegas Raiders conclude tomorrow's third week of training camp at Allegiant Stadium was a preseason game versus the San Francisco 49ers.

The Raiders were the better team as the two faced off on Thursday, and Friday in joiny practices.

In our latest Las Vegas Raiders Insider Podcast, we give you more analysis of the joint practices and some things to watch for in the game on Sunday.

You can watch the entire podcast below:

Robert Spillane has had an outstanding camp for the Silver and Black. I initially reported that he had three interceptions on Friday.

Spillane later corrected me and told me he only had two, but we talked about the massive amount of turnovers the Raiders defense has been inflicting this training camp.

According to Spillane: "Yeah, that's what it's all about. We're going out there playing football, running around, flying around. These joint practices are not only awesome because you get to compete with another team, but you also get to learn from other guys. So, I got a chance to talk to Fred Warner. And I'm like: 'Fred, I love your game. I've been following your game, researching your game for years. What is it to you that stands you apart from the rest?' And he said: 'You know what, it's effort.' And he's right, every time you turn on that film of Fred Warner, what is he doing? Flying to the ball. It doesn't matter if he's 50 yards away. He's playing hard every single opportunity. So, just to hear that from him was a nice way to end these joint practices and be able to give that mutual respect to another linebacker in the league."

The Raiders training camp has been impressive. We also know that none of it matters if it doesn't correlate with regular season wins, but for now, Raiders Nation should be encouraged.

The Silver and Black open the preseason by hosting the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Aug. 13, at 4 p.m. EDT/1 p.m. PDT.
