Rams' Jake Peetz Hired by Seahawks as Passing Game Coordinator
According to multiple reports, Los Angeles Rams pass-game specialist Jake Peetz has been hired by the Seattle Seahawks as the team's new passing-game coordinator.
Peetz will serve under new Seahawks head coach Mike McDonald and new offensive coordiantor Ryan Grubb.
The 40-year-old Peetz has extensive experience in a variety of roles and levels in football. He joined coach Sean McVay's staff with the Rams in 2022.

Peetz had also worked for McVay previously for the then-Washington Redskins in 2014 on coach Jay Gruden's staff when McVay was the offensive coordinator and Peetz was an offensive quality control coach.
His resume also includes stops in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers, Oakland Raiders, and Jacksonville Jaguars; with previous collegiate gigs at LSU, Alabama and UCLA.
Peetz was a relatively hot name this offseason, also interviewing for the offensive coordiantor job vacated by Dave Canales in Tampa Bay.
Canales -- while on the staff of coach Todd Bowles -- helped to revive the career of former Rams quarterback Baker Mayfield. Peetz, of course, has some experience with Mayfield, who spent five games with the Rams in 2022.
McVay's staff has already seen some departures this offseason, with the most notable coming in the form of defensive coordinator Raheem Morris, now the coach of the Atlanta Falcons.
The Rams also lost QB coach Zac Robinson, defensive assistant Jimmy Lake, and offensive assistants K.J. Black, and Nick Jones, who also left L.A. to join Morris in Atlanta.
