The Los Angeles Rams entered their Sunday matchup at MetLife Stadium vs. the New York Giants, controlling their own destiny in the NFC Playoff race.

Even more immediately, with a win and a Seahawks loss, the Rams are in the postseason.

And after one half of play, they are one step closer to sealing that playoff berth, leading the Giants 14-10 at halftime.

The Rams looked to be on a roll offensively early marching down the field at will, before turning it over on downs and giving the ball back to New York.

However, just one drive later, the Rams were able to take care of business, riding the running game on an eight-play, 72-yard drive that ended in a four-yard touchdown for Kyren Williams - his 10th score of the season.

After a punt and an interception interrupted their next two drives, the Rams were at it again on drive No. 4, going 46 yards in eight plays, with Matthew Stafford capping things off with a five-yard touchdown to Cooper Kupp.

As has been the case for most of the last month and change, Stafford has been wheeling and dealing from the pocket, completing 19 of 24 passes for 186 yards and a touchdown.

Stafford has spread the ball around well throughout the first half, completing passes to six different receivers, including five catches for 58 yards on five targets to Tyler Higbee. Stafford has also added five more completions to Demarcus Robinson for 55 yards.

Williams, meanwhile, has added 42 yards on 11 carries, plus the score.

The Rams will start the second half on defense, after receiving the opening kick off.
