It's the time of the season when teams are battling for the final few playoff positions and fans are seeing what their coaches are really made of. Some teams are facing injury issues while still notching wins and other teams are folding under the pressure.

The Ravens are one of the teams who are having a spectacular year, but it doesn't mean there haven't been obstacles to overcome. Starting running back J.K. Dobbins went down in Week 1 and has been lost for the season, injuries have riddled the offensive line and linebacking unit, and newcomers at the wideout position have had to be integrated into the offense seamlessly.

And Harbaugh has been on top of all of it all season.

Pro Football Focus has tabbed Harbaugh as one of the Coach of the Year candidates, and although noting they're not listed "in any particular order other than the manner in which the eight divisions of the NFL are wired into my brain," Harbaugh is listed at No. 3.

"3. Ravens coach John Harbaugh: With a brand-new offense and not a lot of star power on defense, the Ravens are making a run at the No. 1 seed. If they beat the 49ers on Monday night, Harbaugh might just clinch it."

There's no reason Harbaugh shouldn't have as good a chance as any of the others listed.

And speaking of some of those others listed, I wonder if the folks at PFF have ever watched football before? Especially with the likes of Todd Bowles somehow making the list. Just ask any Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan what they think of Bowles' performance as coach this season and see how long it takes for them to mention his firing.
