The Baltimore Ravens' running back room could use an upgrade or two.

With J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards leading the way, there's skepticism that the Ravens will be dominant at the position given their injury struggles in recent years. Dobbins and Edwards have combined to play 16 games together in the past two seasons. That's why depth is uber-important and why the Ravens could benefit from adding a veteran running back in free agency.

Bleacher Report believes that upgrade could come in the form of Darrel Williams, who shined in four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, but struggled in 2022 with the Arizona Cardinals.

"Williams' stint with the Arizona Cardinals was a bust. His production was scarce in six games, and he finished the season on injured reserve with a hip problem. Still, he was a productive receiving back in Kansas City with 1,010 scrimmage yards in 2021," Bleacher Report writes. "The Ravens could look to utilize a pass-catching back more often with Todd Monken calling the offense. Williams could be worth a look for the role."

Williams spent a good chunk of last season on injured reserve, but he isn't far removed from his successful 2021 season with the Chiefs. If he was added to the Ravens' backfield, he would give Baltimore another threat in both the ground game and as a receiver in late-down situations.
