The Biggest Thing to Watch For

The battle for the backup role under Tyler Shough changed its course a little bit after last Saturday
Zach Wilson completed 11 of 16 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown. His performance included three completions of 20 or more yards: a 28-yarder and 37-yarder to Bub Means, and a 28-yard pass to Barion Brown.
Wilson’s production surpassed that of Spencer Rattler, who completed 8 of 11 passes for 42 yards. Rattler also lost a fumble in Saints territory.
Although Wilson took the initial snaps with the second- and third-team units during joint practices with the Rams, head coach Kellen Moore would not name a Saturday starter. Moore said the coaching staff is still evaluating the rotation for the upcoming game.
"We'll just kind of talk through the rotations of everyone," Moore clarified, "so our (the coaches) focus was really this practice, then this afternoon (Thursday) we'll kind of get into what the game is going to look like for everyone."
