What to Watch: Defense in Preseason Opener - Locked On Seahawks Podcast

Likely to play few, if any, notable starters out of the gate in the preseason, veterans such as Tre Brown and incoming rookies such as Mike Morris will be aiming to impress in the first dress rehearsal at Lumen Field.

While Bobby Wagner, Quandre Diggs, and many of the team's high-profile stars won't play on Thursday, several incoming rookies and bubble players on defense will have plenty at stake as the Seattle Seahawks kick off their preseason against the Minnesota Vikings.

Hosts Corbin Smith, Rob Rang, and Shawn Walli examine key storylines to watch when Seattle is on defense, including an intense competition at cornerback between Tre Brown, Mike Jackson, and Coby Bryant continuing to play out, and break down which position groups they will be watching most closely at Lumen Field.

Smith, Rang, and Walli also examine whether or not the Seahawks look more or less like a contender in the NFC after 11 camp practices and dish out their weekly "Picks to Click" heading into the exhibition opener.
