Taylor Swift Rocked Seahawks; Travis Kelce Super Bowl Proposal Next?

The Seattle Seahawks are no stranger to the "Taylor Swift Effect."

One of the most-followed NFL storylines of this season is the budding relationship between mega-pop star Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Seattle is no stranger to the "Swift Effect."

Seahawks fans are known as the "12th man" at Lumen Field, giving their team a healthy home field advantage. Case in point: the 2011 “Beast Quake,” when Seattle fans caused literal seismic activity as running back Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch scored a touchdown during a Wild Card showdown with the New Orleans Saints.

However, Swifties caused record-breaking seismic activity, the equivalent of a 2.3 magnitude earthquake, during her two concerts at Lumen Field, according to CNN.

Seattle hotels also scored, making more than $7 million in room revenue from the Swift weekend. That profit is $2 million more than any other day in Seattle history, according to Visit Seattle.

The 12-time Grammy Award-winning songstress has also undoubtedly moved the needle in NFL viewership and fandom with many "Swifties" turning their attention to football, and now, the Super Bowl.

The reigning-Super Bowl champion Chiefs will look to defend their title against the San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 11 in Las Vegas. Swift will likely be there, although she does have a quick turnaround from her final Era's Tour show in Tokyo to get there.

Could this romance apex with Kelce down on one knee after the Super Bowl?

The odds are slim, with "no" being a heavy favorite at the moment. The "yes" option is currently listed at +1120, with the negatory at -3500. The current odds imply that there is an eight-percent chance of an on-field proposal with a 92-percent chance it won’t happen.

Then again. You never know with this love story.

Also, the odds are only available in Canada. No legal American sportsbook will host any Taylor Swift props for the Super Bowl. The Niners are the current favorites to win Super Bowl LVIII, so the odds are stacked against Kelce's Chiefs in more ways than one.

Swift has supported Kelce by attending 12 Chiefs games this season, sitting in suites with family members of the team. The two exchanged a sweet embrace that went viral on the field after the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl.

No doubt, an engagement would move the needle off the charts.
