PITTSBURGH -- Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph is moving on to a new team for the first time in his career.

Rudolph, an unrestricted free agent that was pursued seriously by the Steelers this offseason, has signed with the Tennessee Titans, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. The deal is for one year and $3.62 million, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 in Houston, Texas.

The Steelers made it known they were eager to re-sign Rudolph after his impressive close to the 2023 season, during which he threw for 716 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions on a 75% completion rate in three starts.

He took a step back in his lone playoff start against the Buffalo Bills, throwing for 229 yards, a 56.4% completion rate and two touchdowns to just one interception, but still had the Steelers within a possession of the Bills late into the second half.

But with Russell Wilson now on his way to the Steel City and expected to start, the Steelers quarterback room is filling up fast. Now the Titans and swooped in and added a quality option alongside second-year signal-caller Will Levis.
