Antonio Brown Appears to Have Retired

The ten-year career of Antonio Brown appears to have come to an end. The former All-Pro receiver announced on Twitter Monday afternoon, that he would be retiring from the NFL.
"At this point the risk is greater than the reward thank you everyone who been part of this journey I sincerely thank you for everything," Brown wrote in a series of tweets. "Life goes on 84!"
Brown said he "will not be playing" for the current NFL owners, stating they can "cancel deals and do whatever they want."
The New England Patriots won their grievance against Brown, saving $4 million they would've had to pay.
During his nine season with the Steelers, Brown recorded 11,207 yards and 74 touchdowns, and was a seven-time Pro Bowler and five-time All-Pro.
Brown hasn't played since Week 1 of 2019 and is currently under investigation for sexual assault towards his former trainer Britney Taylor. Brown was mentioned to be a target to teams like the Baltimore Ravens and Seattle Seahawks, but neither negotiated deals.
