Former Player Has Bold Prediction About Steelers WRs

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have three solidified wide receivers in their room with Diontae Johnson, George Pickens and Allen Robinson. But one former player believes a sleeper could emerge as the third wideout on the roster, surpassing one of the three, this season.
During his latest episode of The Arthur Moats Experience, the former Steelers linebacker gave his thoughts on the team's third wide receiver position. Many believe Robinson is in line to start as the slot this season, but for Moats, he sees Calvin Austin III as the guy they'll want on the field with Johnson and Pickens.
"We know two of these dudes already: Pickens and Diontae. Calvin's the third. That's how I look at it," Moats said. "Allen Robinson is already like one of these two. Calvin is different than these two. I'm thinking just personnel-wise, coaching-wise. If I want to call something crazy on a passing situation, I want that Calvin Austin out there without Allen Robinson, personally."
Austin didn't play last season after suffering a lisfranc injury the practice before the team's first preseason game. He was initially set to return during the season but dealt with a setback, leaving him on Injured Reserve for his entire rookie campaign.
Since his return in OTAs and minicamp, teammates and coaches have raved about what they've seen.
Robinson comes to Pittsburgh after starting 10 games for the Los Angeles Rams last season, catching 33 passes for 339 yards and three touchdowns. He's only two years removed from back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.
Even if Austin surpasses Robinson as the starter inside, both receivers are going to see plenty of reps during games. With Kenny Pickett entering his second year and first full year as a starter, the Steelers are going to utilize all their weapons to ensure their quarterback succeeds.
Austin is a sleeper to watch during training camp, for sure. Robinson is going to be fun to see in black and gold as well.
