Steelers Rival: Ravens Players Lash Out at Training Camp

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have two days of training camp practice remaining, and are nearly through four weeks without a fight - which is unusual for most NFL teams. Meanwhile, their AFC North rivals, the Baltimore Ravens, are dealing with internal conflicts that appear to be rising to the surface.
The news out of Baltimore seems to be all positive regarding their rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers. The Boston College product has been lighting up the field at practice, and is quickly becoming a favorite of quarterback Lamar Jackson's.
Not everyone seems to like that change, though. Reports out of their latest practice detail tight end Mark Andrews being visibly upset after a play in which Flowers scored. According to The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec, following a completion from Jackson to Flowers, Andrews spiked his helmet off the ground and eventually walked off the field by himself.
Ravens TE Mark Andrews seemed to be frustrated. After a Jackson TD pass to Flowers, Andrews spiked his helmet hard enough where it looked like part of it broke. He then took a knee off to the side and eventually walked back inside by himself just as practice was ending.

It's unknown what exactly set off Andrews in the moment. Baltimore has been participating in joint practice with the Washington Commanders, and the two sides have gotten into scuffles in recent days, once started by Andrews.
According to Zrebiec, Andrews and Commanders cornerback Danny Johnson got into it following a play and Andrews "got up and threw Johnson to the ground, sparking another fracas." He and Commanders defensive tackle Daron Payne needed to be separated afterward.
On the day Andrews walked off the field, the team had two more altercations.
Andrews' frustrations could have come from another encounter with a Washington player, but it could have also been after a practice that "left plenty on the field."
But there was still a sense that the Ravens left plenty on the field. There were a few drops, including at least one by Keaton Mitchell on a wheel route where Jackson dropped it in his hands. On a few other plays, Ravens WRs and TEs had separation and Jackson underthrew them.

The Ravens have time to fix whatever tensions are high within the locker room, but it's never a good sign to have players visibly upset after a scoring play.
The Steelers are now watching headlines of two AFC North teams handling rough weeks at training camp. The Ravens have their issues, and the Cleveland Browns' offense had problems of their own in joint practices with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Pittsburgh wraps up their final two days of camp before hosting the Buffalo Bills in their second preseason game. If no on-field scuffles happen, it'll be the first time in recent memory they've gotten through training camp without a fight.
