In this story:

There is arguably no name more synonymous with the Houston Texans than that of legendary former defensive end J.J. Watt.

As it stands today, Watt sits as the best defensive player in franchise history, holding the team record for sacks (101), tackles for loss (172), quarterack hits (282) and forced fumbles (25) - with each of those marks being held by a wide margin.

Suffice it to say, when Watt talks, Texans fans listen. But with that platform, also comes criticism - particularly on the internet and social media, where fans tend to get out of line more often than not.

That was again the case on Friday when a fan strangely attempted to call out Watt over the way his son was dressed in a photo during a trip to London.

"Instead of dressing him as an infant model, why not put him in COMFORTABLE clothes that fit," said the fan. We will still think he is cute no matter what he is wearing."

As most would expect, Watt was understandbly irked by the comment, quickly coming right back after the fan with a tweet of his own.

"Cheers Dee, I appreciate the parenting advice," Watt said. Koa has other jackets, but he runs and grabs this one every single morning when he wants to go on a walk. Want to know what’s not comfortable? You thinking you know when my son is comfortable."

The fan, of course, had another response, trying to defend her previous statement.

"At his age he is grabbing what he is used to wearing/you ooo'd and aww'd about," the tweet read. "Not what is a wise choice. As a parent you know this. My comment was about his comfort. Full stop."

Either way, it is rarely ever the job of another adult to advise a parent on how to care for, or even simply dress, their own child.

And though it is hardly a surprise for social media users to make outlandish statements at any given moment, one can hardly blame Watt for defending himself in this situation.
