Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch gave his final press conference after the Seahawks’ loss to the Green Bay Packers and gave NFL fans one last gem. Lynch offered some advice to young NFL players. He suggested that his contemporaries take care of their bodies, their “chickens,” which in this sense means money, and take care of their mental health. These are wise words from a man that has endured a lasting career and seen the other side in retirement. SI’s Robin Lundberg applauds Lynch’s wisdom, but highlights that this may not of been the final Lynch presser if head coach Pete Carroll would’ve put the game in the hands of Russell Wilson to lead them to the promise land.
