Since 2006, “Sunday Night Football” on NBC has been the domain for the prominent NFL game each week. The league’s flex-scheduling has also assisted NBC to accommodate injuries, matchups not being as appetizing as originally thought and other circumstances. The NFL is reportedly inquiring with teams to get their thoughts on flex-scheduling the Monday night football games. The current TV deal is up following the 2021 season and any potential changes to flex-scheduling would be applied to the new deal.
