Cam Newton: "I Don't Have To Prove Nothing"

Cam Newton spoke to the media and said he doesn't need to prove anything to those teams that passed on him

Quarterback Cam Newton had his first media availability as a member of the New England Patriots and he used it to emphatically state he has nothing to prove. He also added that he is a self motivator and didn't need snubs from other teams in free agency to serve as motivation.

Patriots QB Cam Newton asked if he's motivated by the way things ended in Carolina: "I wake up mad. ... I'm a self-motivator."
