Jordan Addison on Vikings' WRs: 'Nobody Is Gonna Be Able to Cover Us'

In this story:
The Vikings' wide receiver room is loaded.
It starts, of course, with the best receiver on the planet. Justin Jefferson is the NFL's reigning offensive player of the year and the consensus No. 1 wideout in football heading into 2023.
Then there's K.J. Osborn, an underrated fourth-year player who should see the biggest role of his career now that Adam Thielen is gone. To round out a trio that has the potential to be one of the best in the league, there's first-round rookie Jordan Addison, who has had an incredible training camp thus far.

It goes further than that, too. The Vikings' WR room also includes Jalen Nailor, Trishton Jackson, and Brandon Powell, who have all had strong camps. Oh, and former first-round picks Jalen Reagor and N'Keal Harry are trying to revive their careers in Minnesota.
Addison recently talked to SI's Matt Verderame about his offseason learning Kevin O'Connell's offense.
“I feel like my skills fit perfectly for what we’re trying to do," Addison said. "Like I said, it is a lot. But once you get it all down, the receivers we’ve got in this room, I don’t think nobody is going to be able to cover us."
Getting up to speed in this offense has been a grind for Addison, but he's done everything the Vikings' coaches have asked him to do. That has shown on the practice field, it showed in his first taste of preseason action, and it has him primed to be a key target for Kirk Cousins in his rookie year.
Check out Verderame's full piece here, which includes plenty of insight from Addison and O'Connell.
