Don Cherry waters his flowers for Ice Bucket Challenge

No doubt about it. The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has become a full-blown phenomenon, generating many of this summer's top viral videos while raising several million bucks for research in both Canada and the United States.

Paul Bissonnette takes Ice Bucket Challenge to new heights

Amazingly, the social media juggernaut is showing no signs of slowing down, thanks to an apparently inexhaustible supply of celebrities who are willing to douse themselves with some high quality H20 (and does anyone else think Adam Sandler missed a glorious opportunity to revive his Bobby Boucher character when he answered the call from Britney Spears?)

Anyway, you knew Don Cherry would be on the clock at some point, and when the challenge came in from his Hockey Night In Canada running buddy Ron MacLean, he responded in his own unique fashion.

You don't think he was wearing that flower-festooned jacket by accident, do ya?

Hope that beauty wasn't "dry clean only" but if it was, it was sacrificed for a good cause.
