Sharks’ defenseman Brent Burns put on a rockin' show before taking on the Oilers, breaking out some sweet dance moves and air guitar.

Many athletes have a certain routine to get them pumped for a game, but few are as entertaining as San Jose sharks defenseman Brent Burns.

Burns put on a show prior to Wednesday’s game against the Edmonton Oilers, and it was rocking. During warmups, the defenseman got himself ready with his feet quickly moving and finished up the performance with an air guitar solo.

With those epic moves, that beard, and his pet snakes, Burns is making his case for NHL's Rock Star of the Year, an award we think needs to be created ASAP.
