Kenyan-born runner Edward Cheserek grew up in the United States, the New Jersey high school phenom turned college phenom attempted to run for the US in Rio. However, his citizenship remains in limbo due to US immigration policies. This has lead Edward to make the decision to run for his home country of Kenya in the 2020 Olympics which will be held in Tokyo.
