Liverpool FC has signed striker Divock Origi from Lille, the club announced Tuesday.

The 19-year-old Origi will be loaned back to Lille for the 2014-15 season.

Though the terms of the deal were not announced by the club, The Guardian reports that Origi signed a five-year contract worth around £10 million ($16.9 million).

Origi has been with Lille since the age of 15. He was previously with K.R.C Genk in Belgium.

Origi played in all five of Belgium's matches at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and scored in the country's 1-0 victory over Russia.
