Barcelona, Arsenal engage in Thierry Henry Vine tug of war

Monday February 22nd, 2016

Thierry Henry enjoyed success with both Arsenal and Barcelona, and with the two powers set to square off in the Champions League, the clubs' social media accounts engaged in a bragging rights tug of war over the legendary forward.

Henry, Arsenal's all-time leading scorer, was part of the club's famed "Invincibles" squad and helped the team to the Champions League final against Barcelona in 2006. He made the move to Barcelona in 2007 and enjoyed more success on the European level with the Blaugrana, lifting the Champions League trophy in 2009 after Barcelona beat Manchester United.

So for whom did Henry do it better? Arsenal and Barcelona took their dispute to Vine:

Henry's other clubs, Monaco, Juventus and the New York Red Bulls, have yet to weigh in. As for Barcelona and Arsenal, they open their Champions League round-of-16 series in London on Tuesday before the return leg in Barcelona on March 16. Arsenal has been eliminated in the round of 16 in each of the last five seasons.
