A violent brawl broke out at the end of the USA U-19 men's national team's 3-1 loss to Bahrain Monday, which eliminated the Americans from the COTIF Tournament in Spain.

The incident happened after the USA's Pierre Da Silva was tripped and fouled by one Bahrain player and had another kick the ball off his head. A number of U.S. players snapped in their reactions, running after and eventually shoving the player who kicked the ball, before it devolved further, as both benches cleared and players engaged in more shoving and kicking.

Bahrain came from behind to win after Kevin Lankford opened the scoring for the U.S. Abdulaziz Khalid scored a second-half hat trick to secure the result before the brawl ensued.

The U.S. was eliminated with the loss. In its other games during the tournament, it fell to Venezuela 2-0 and beat Spain and Mauritania 1-0. It had beaten Spain on the strength of this Brandon Vazquez free kick over the weekend.

Spain, Argentina and Venezuela have punched tickets to the semifinals, while Mexico awaits the result of Qatar-Costa Rica to see if it will go through as well.
