Steelers Place Punter Daniel Sepulveda On IR

The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed punter Daniel Sepulveda on injured reserve with a knee injury, according to the team’s official Twitter account. The team re-signed free agent punter Jeremy Kapinos to replace Sepulveda.

Sepulveda was averaging a career-high 46.1 yards per punt this season. Sepulveda missed the last four games of 2010 with a knee injury as well and was placed on injured reserve in 2008 with a torn right ACL.
