NBA G Aaron Brooks Agrees To Play In China

Free agent guard Aaron Brooks has signed a one-year deal to play overseas in China in light of the NBA lockout, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Brooks will play for Guandong of the Chinese Basketball Association and is already a well known and popular player in China his days playing alongside Yao Ming in Houston. The one-year deal is estimated to be worth $2 million.

The Chinese Basketball Association begins its season this weekend and it ends mid-February. According to the Chinese league rules, Brooks may not opt out of his contract, even if the NBA lockout ends.
