Jaguars Maintain Faith In Blaine Gabbert Following Benching

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie QB Blaine Gabbert was pulled in the fourth quarter of his team's loss to the Houston Texans, but all indications are that he'll return to his starting role when the team takes the field next week.

"Blaine is our starting quarterback until I tell you otherwise," Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said after the game, according to NFL.com.

And according to CBSSports.com, at least one Jaguars player, wide receiver Mike Thomas, publicly supported the decision.  “There is no question that he is going to be the future of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ organization," Thomas said according to the report, "so we just have to get back to work."
