Suh has drawn criticism this week after video revealed that he shoved and stomped on Packers lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith in a 27-15 loss to Green Bay on Thursday. Suh initially denied that the act occurred, but later apologized via Facebook.
“My reaction on Thursday was unacceptable,” Suh said in a statement on his Facebook page. “I made a mistake, and have learned from it. I hope to direct the focus back to the task at hand — by winning."
The 24-year-old has been fined several times by the league for his aggressive play this season, and even requested a face-to-face meeting with commissioner Rodger Goodell to discuss NFL rules. At the time Suh said he requested the meeting to discuss his perception as a “dirty player.”
Following the conversation with Goodell, Suh said he would not change his aggressive style of play.
