Report: Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte Has MCL Sprain
Bears running back Matt Forte has a sprained MCL, according to a report from Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Forte left the game against the Chiefs in the first quarter after being hit low by linebacker Derrick Johnson; he walked off under his own power albeit with a limp. It's the second devastating injury for the Bears, who are already without star quarterback Jay Cutler. Forte has 997 yards rushing on the season, and had hoped to receive a new contract from the Bears.
