Eddy Curry To Sign With Miami Heat

Eddy Curry will reportedly sign with the Miami Heat, CBS Sports reports.

Curry appeared close to signing a deal with the Heat last season but the team had concerns about his fitness. After spending the summer working out with trainer Tim Grover, Curry is believed to be in “excellent shape.”

Last season Curry was on the Knicks roster but did not play; he was later traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves to facilitate a trade with the Denver Nuggets that brought star forward Carmelo Anthony to New York. The Timberwolves went on to buy out Curry’s contract, making the 29-year-old a free agent.
