Eagles Players Called Out Jets Coverages In Sunday's 45-19 Win

The Philadelphia Eagles were calling out the New York Jets’ coverages according to Jets safety Eric Smith, ESPN.com reports.

Smith said the Eagles receivers identified the type of coverage before the snap and would yell it to each other and quarterback Michael Vick.

"They'd line up, look at us, look at Vick, and (say), 'Oh, they're in Cover Zero' or 'They're in Cover One,'" Smith told ESPNNewYork.com after the Jets’ 45-19 loss. "They did a good job of studying, a good job of preparing for the game."

Jets head coach Rex Ryan made remarks about the Eagles’ ability to call out the Jets coverages in his press conference Monday:

“It doesn't generally happen with our defense. We’ll try to change some things.”
