Report: New Jersey Nets On The Verge Of Signing Kris Humphries

The New Jersey Nets are currently in the process of finalizing a one-year deal with embattled power forward Kris Humphries, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

The Nets reportedly expect to finish the deal today and Humphries should be available for the team’s final preseason game, Wojnarowski reports.

In his second year with the Nets last season, Humphries averaged a double-double, posting 10 points and 10.4 rebounds per game in 27.4 minutes per contest. Over the course of his seven-year career, the former lottery pick has averaged 5.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.
