NFL Suspends Rams WR Austin Pettis For Violating Performance-Enhancing Drug Policy

The NFL has suspended St. Louis Rams wide receiver Austin Pettis for four games for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy, according to FOX Sports.

"Austin's situation is unfortunate," said head coach Steve Spagnuolo in a statement. "Obviously, we are disappointed and will miss him during this suspension. But the NFL's policies are very clear and we respect the League's decision in this matter."

Pettis, 23, was the team’s third-round pick out of Boise State and will be suspended, without pay, for the final two games this season and the first two of next season.
