New Orleans Saints tackle Zach Strief defended his team’s decision to help quarterback Drew Brees set the NFL single-season record for yards in a season last night, despite being up by over 20 points.

The Saints have received flak from both their opponent, the Atlanta Falcons, and the media for continuing to pass the ball late in the fourth quarter last night. The Saints ultimately won 45-16.
