Dwyane Wade Likens Ricky Rubio To Steve Nash

Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade said he was impressed by rookie phenom Ricky Rubio during their narrow 103-101 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves Dec. 30, according to Fox Sports North.

"The kid has something. He has that Steve Nash capability," Wade told FSN. "They've got a gem in him. He's going to be great for them."

Rubio finished with 12 points and 12 assists in the close loss to the Heat. The 21-year-old rookie, in his first year with the Timberwolves after being drafted fifth overall in 2009, has dazzled the NBA early on with his creative passes on the court.
