Dwyane Wade Misses Heat Shootaround With Foot Injury

Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade did not attend the team’s shootaround this morning due to a left foot contusion he suffered last week, according to ESPN’s Heat Index blog.

Wade is reportedly a game-time decision for Miami’s game tonight against the Indiana Pacers.  The 29-year-old told ESPN that playing back-to-back games on the injury on Sunday and Monday re-aggravated the contusion.

"With so many games in so many days, we want to be smart about it and move on from it," Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra told the site. "We want to make sure we nip this in the bud. If we feel he can play tonight and it won't set him back (for Thursday's game in Atlanta), he'll go."
